The Network:

Burrington Associates Inc. is a proud member of the Inter-City Personnel Associates (IPA) network of over 200 independently owned offices within the United States and Canada. Formed in 1973 in Appleton, WI by a small group of independent recruiting firms, IPA has grown to be one of the top 3 recruiting networks in the country. The days of hard-copy paper resumes and job order packages are long gone, replaced by the on-line Recruiter Management System (RMS)

The RMS works the same for candidates, but in reverse. Your resume along with our presentation sheet are entered into the network, with certain skill and key word codes. This information allows the system to search for potential job orders fitting your specific needs, location preferences, and expertise.

Core Groups:

RMS also offers Core Groups. These groups are made up of agents who specialize in a certain discipline. Core groups may specialize in a broad field, such as Engineering, Accounting, or Sales/Marketing. Others may specialize in actual products, such as plastics, metals, foods, motors, ceramics, or machinery, etc.. We also offer core groups specializing in Six Sigma, Executives over 100k, Information Technology, as well as many others. Core groups work the same for both employers seeking candidates or candidates seeking our employers.
